Brits 'Around BC

Day two starts with a drive from Comox to Departure Bay in Nanaimo, where we board the 10:30 a.m. BC Ferry sailing from Departure Bay to Horseshoe Bay, where members from the Vancouver Coast Branch will join with us.

Bart Shaw, Bence McIntyre and members from the Vancouver Coast Branch will be meeting us at the ferry terminal at Horseshoe Bay, and will be driving up to Pemberton via the Sea to Sky Hwy, via Squamish and Whistler. There may be stops on the way. The members of the Vancouver Coast Branch will be showing us their culinary skills by cooking up an English favorite - Fish and Chips! We understand that Fred will be going ahead with 'the catch'. The group will be staying at the Pemberton Valley Lodge, which is set in a river valley nestled between the majestic coastal mountains, just 20 minutes north of Whistler.

This is a wonderful part of the route. There is so much to see and do. There will be plenty of time to stop, take photographs and view the spectacular scenery.
