About the Branch
Area Serviced
The Central Island Branch (est Dec 2, 1994) of the Old English Car Club includes 80+members from Duncan to Nanaimo ,Tofino and Comox/Courtney.
Guests and new members are always welcome at our meetings, meetups and events. If this seems interesting we’d love to have you join us.
We meet the 3rd Thursday @ 7:00 pm of every month (except Dec) at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 256 at 1630 E.Wellington Rd (@ Bowen Rd) Nanaimo, BC V9S 5P8. Any questions ? Email us
During our driving season, primarily May through October, we do hold numerous drives of varying lengths. Car shows, local events , BBQs , pub drives and some regular meetups, on the social side of things.
Branch Publications – The “Bulletin” and “BEANO” (British Engineered Automobiles Nanaimo Order)
The Central Island Branch publishes a newsletter available to members of the Club and the public. The newsletter is published on the website and an email is sent to all branch members with a link to the new issue. Back issues are archived online HERE for easy access.
