A Cruise and Dinner on May 9th

We have a cruise, and dinner following the cruise to Kimberley and a drive back to Cranbrook on Saturday May 9th leaving the Lordco parking lot in Cranbrook at 4:30 pm. Bring your British car if it is on the road or just bring your daily driver for a great British dinner at Britner's Fish & Chips at lower Blarchmont, (just before Overwaitea). Great food and great commaradery. Tables are reserved and they are looking forward to having our club and classic cars. We have to eat so let's eat British style.

Our 2015 May OECC Kootenay meeting will be changed from the College of the Rockies to a Creston venue. Creston is having their Blossom Festival on May 16th (Saturday) and the Creston Cruisers are having a car show on May 17th (Sunday). Most of us like taking in the Creston car show in the spring and what better time to be in Creston than when all the flowers are in bloom and classic cars are out of storage for the winter and out and about for this show. Our club will be having a "get-together" at the Creston Hotel and a room has been booked (Jimmy's Pub) just for that, starting at 2pm Creston time which will be toward the end of the show. The Creston Hotel is on the main street, downtown, within the car show area, so a short walk after the show can bring you to the hotel. We may even have new faces at  our meeting that day also, so lets take in the show then get together at Jimmy's Pub for a snack/lunch etc. and some good talks. See you all there for a great time.
