Sunday, January 24: January Self-Directed Drive

Given the directions from public health authorities, there will be no social or direct contact event in January. There will be a self-directed drive for members to take. Participants can obtain the driver’s guide by clicking the link below.  For those who wish to do the drive on January 24th Chris Beresford will be at the Hamsterley Beach parking lot between 1 and 2 PM to hand out a a copy of the guide. Although the guide will be provided, there will be no opportunity for members to gather or socialize at the start - it will be a simple stop and go event. Participants are asked to take a series of pictures during the run and send these to the Editor. The weather forecast isn't that great for January 24 and day later in the week might be a better choice.

This route with the stops is best taken in a nice day, with sunshine (and no rain or snow). You can take the run any time you choose. Please take pictures and send them to the editor (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or the planners (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

There are at least two stops for refreshments on the route (you will past Mary’s Bleue Moon Cafe and you will stop at Sea Cider Farm and Ciderhouse). The Ciderhouse prefers reservations for one of the four tables: reservations

The walks are perfect for our 4-legged friends. At least the dogs…

Enjoy your outting.
